Gray hairs mean wisdom

That's what I like to tell myself every time I find one. I always said that if I had a big chunk of grays (or whites, because mine are fully white) I would dye it. But I don't a big chunk, I have loose white hairs and they're hard to keep up. They're reproducing fast. And they hide.

The other day, as I was dividing my hair and straightening it, I saw a million. I sighed. I am old. They only started appearing about a year or so, and I am only 29! This year I turn 30, uh-oh.

I'm sure I am not the only one who is finding these sings these days. Let's not be sad. Years mean wisdom as well (?). And if they don't wisdom in our case, maybe it's time to get some.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

A great book on wisdom, whether you're a Christian or not, is the Book od Proverbs. This boos covers a lot of topics, from friendship, to how to spend your time and money.

For example, I am learning and practicing this one:

“Discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.” Proverbs 2:11

Or this one:
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom". Provervs 11:2

Here are a couple more:

"A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown,   but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones." Proverbs 12:4
Another version says: "but she who causes shame"

About friendship:
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
~ Proverbs 13:20

I hope you're encouraged to read this book with me!
